first off i apoligize for the new thread i juat wasnt sure how to search for this

my question is the shuttle 6.0 is 375w at 8ohms if my 8ohm cab is rated for 300 cont. then not only am i losing out on 75 watts but i have to be careful because i could blow the speakers if i crank it all the way up correct??

No matter what cab or amp you have, you will never get good sound out of running it full bore on "10". Realistically good sound will be in the "9'oclock" to "3 o'clock" positions ,volume- wise. Dont worry about that other 75 watts. Its nothing. My 700 rbII amp does 480 watts @4ohms, but I run an 8 ohm cab, so at the most the amp can put out 320 watts, and my cab is 500. I run it on 4 to 5, which is "10'oclock to 12 o'clock" at the very most.
