Quick question about Cliff's playing in Ride the Lightning (Song)

Don't know if this is the right place to post this but whatever. So I as listening to the isolated track a little bit ago and I noticed something. In the bass track here: Invalid Link Removed most noticeable at about 2:23-2:30, it really does sound like the strings are hitting are hitting the frets/fretboard. And because he plays with low action and heavy attack it would make sense right?

Yes. Several legendary bass players made "clank" and fret buzz an integral part of their sound. Geddy, Squire, (sometimes) Cliff, etc.
