Double Bass quick question about low Hz mic roll off (older shoeps)

Hi,
I have been keeping an eye out for a good mic and have been offered a great deal on an older shoeps setup (CMC4 modified to CMC5 specs) these have a low rolloff at 30Hz instead of the 20Hz the newer CMC6 has.
Should I be concerned about the rolloff? The low E on the bass is a bit higher than that at 41Hz.

Cmc5 has a more gentle slope than cmc6. I prefer the cmc5, they are also much easier to repair and service than the 6. More so, be aware that many mk4 capsules are in fact mk4s or similar with a severe bass cut. Also avoid the mk40

Thanks! This is paired with an MK41.
Also I discovered it’s a “blue dot” with +5db gain. Is that something I should be concerned with?

Should not be an issue on bass. On overheads and such you may have to pad down between the cmc and the mk.
