Quick SX modding question

Hey All.

Was wondering if anyone knew if replacement pup covers will drop right onto the SX pups.

I have an SX P and I actually like the pickups, but I was going to be doing some upgrades anyway and I want white pup covers. I just am afraid they might not line up right with the stock SX pups.

Bump...no big deal, I figure they are pretty standard. Just wondering if anyone knew...

If they're the standard size, 3-5/8 and 3-3/4 (which I believe they are) then I don't see any reason why white covers wouldn't fit over them.

This isn't really the forum for that kind of question but I don't think anyone has answered you because noone knows. As long as your SX has standard P or J pickups you could expect most pickup covers to fit.

They cost a little more than a drink so why not just buy some and if they don't fit buy a different brand?

Yes, they are standard size. You're right. Any standard pup cover should fit.

How about some white spray paint made specially for plastics? Krylon makes some good stuff. Though I have not used it on pickup covers it has done well on lots of things...
