Yep- The tone control rolled all the way clockwise is the least amount of cut. It's a passive system, so there's no boost available.
Actually, the "... most real and unafffected..." is when you put a DPDT true-bypass switch in and route the pickup straight to the jack with out the loading of either the volume or tone pots....
