I’ve used the line out many times, and never once had a sound man say a word about buzz, level, tone, quality, grounding, etc, etc...
The line out is post everything, including the master, which is again a deal breaker for some.
If you are using your built in DI in pre mode though, it’s just as easy - and the same - to add a direct box before the amp.

Don't start that one again! Search back a few months and the thread gets massively derailed about the DI. Or save yourself the stress - its established that the DI level is affected by the amps volume so its not strictly a classic DI. A few people hate it because of that, most aren't too fussed though

Exactly; it is such a blown-out-of-proportion non-issue. Every gig I've ever played, the sound guy says "plug in here," and every recording session, the sound guy says "plug in here." I've never been in a real-world situation where the sound guy says, "uh oh, I'm out of DI's, so your bass amp better have one, or else we're screwed." (But if that day ever does come, I'm ready with a backup Radial JDI in my gig bag.)
That said, I sure hope version 2.0 of the Bass Block has a "pre/post" switch on the XLR out. It is a simple and inexpensive feature that would make a lot of people happy.

Never had an issue with mine either. Works just fine for me twice a week for the year plus I have owned it

Can I plug the BB800 directly to the computer and program like garage band, or do I need something like an irig or other device? I would like to connect it to a computer, but not only the bass, the bass, the zoom B3n, the BB800 and then the computer.

I guess you can run whatever pedal(s) you want into the BB800 and use its Line out straight into your PC. I think you need an XLR (female) to mini jack (male) adapter, but I never did that.
I use a mixer so I can have separate volumes for my bass and the PC (YouTube, backing tracks, MP3 files etc.)
Bass>pedalboard>BB800>Mixer>Active monitors

If you don't have a mixer you can use the line in of your PC.
Try both and see what happens. Make sure to have both gain and master on the BB800 as low as possible when doing this.

It's just the bass, I want to do some recording to check out my playing. I usually use just the phone or the zoom h2n, but today I will some free time and I was wondering how would the Quilter sound with a "better" recording.

Well the Quilter is gonna sound great, it would be your 'recording technique' that may need attention...
If you don't have an audio interface for your PC (not the sound card in the PC), you could use your H2n as the interface, with a good sample/bit rate:
Bass> BB800 (line out)> H2n (line in)/H2n (USB)> PC (USB)> DAW software
You'll need the proper cables/adapters, and be aware of your levels (BB800, H2n, PC app). You'll have a lot of flexibility with gain/volume adjustments from your bass/BB800/H2n/PC.

Have you guys attempted to remove the red/black "hazard" Quilter logo/plate thing on top of the amp? Is it a decal that is stuck to the unit or is it screwed in via the side panel screws?

Wow! I just got my Quilter in the mail today and I am really impressed!!!
Really clean flat sounding tone that can be tweaked with the easy to use controls to get some great sounds! Big fat tone, nice mid sounds, or nice treble if needed.
I love the old school tone I can get for my P bass too!
I was suprised just how small this sucker was compared to my Aguilar and Markbass heads.
Pic shows the head on my Aguilar stuff, but I tried it on my other three Markbass cabinet stacks as well and it sounds great on them.
