Nice combo. I have an IB and One10 also (not in red, that looks nice!) and they are a great combo. I was inspired by TBer @bikemusic to make a battery powered adaptor for the IB and now that plus the One10 is an incredibly portable, LOUD, great sounding rig.

The IB seems great, right up until I see the power supply, which looks like it basically doubles the size of the unit. It draws too much for a standard pedal supply. It doesn’t really look convenient for standard, stand-alone use- it’s great for a board, where you can hide the PS, and it looks PERFECT for a tiny “practice installation “ at home or work. But it doesn’t really look any more handy than a micro head with a standard IEC connection for general schlepping and rehearsal use. I think getting to see and use one might change my mind, though.

It kind of looks like you could run the IB off of the 24 v extension on a CIOCKS DC-7. Has anyone tried this?

I don’t have a micro head like the elf or tc bh250, but I can vouch for the IB being incredibly useful and easy to carry around. Maybe those other heads are just as convenient, I can’t say. But the feature set of the IB allows it to be a preamp for a more full powered amp, a headphone amp, or standalone and very capable of hanging with almost any band up til rock drums and driven guitars kick in.

I use mine almost exclusively with a 24v/3a power tool battery with a 3D printed adapter. Zero noise, portable, runs forever on a single charge.

I think it’s flexibility far outweighs the oddball power supply. YMMV

You can. I don’t have a CIOKS Dc-7, but there’s a thread on TB somewhere where people have done it successfully and they mention the cable you need.
