Saturday I used the battery powered Interbass rig for an outdoor May Day folk gig. It was a 10-piece band with full drum kit, two accordions, several guitars and violins etc miked into the PA. The bass rig had no trouble holding down the low end with gain and master at 12 o'clock. That was through a single 8 ohm cabinet and no PA support. Even so I had to play lightly. I got audience complements on the tone and balance. The Interbass is far more than a practice amp.
The other thing to mention is that there is zero background noise, ever. No hiss, no fan, nothing.

Bikemusic described this on posts 171-7 of this thread. It's a very clever set-up!
It's a special battery that has an outlet on it you can either plug directly into it or plug in with the use of an adapter, depending on what you got.
He 3D printed an adapter to clip onto the battery, installed a toggle switch to that, and ran a cable to the power input of the Interbass.
In this picture you see the adapter on top, with the toggle switch, and the cable running to the Interbass. I'm only repeating what he said in the postings--I'll let him take it from here.

I get a headache trying to figure out whether x power source will be enough for y device.
That's definitely something to consider. The power supply does take up room. I've also owned the TE Elf, which is only a hair bigger than the Interbass, but doesn't have an external power supply, so it's probably the most tidy and compact option out there, and is also 200 watts like your GK.
Having said all that, I'm not sure sure the interbass is any less loud than the Elf in actual use. I can't say for sure, because I haven't had to crank either to anywhere near its limit, but the Interbass is freakishly loud for its rated power.
Depends on your definition of wall wart I suppose (It's a laptop type adaptor) but for me the main selling point of the Interbass is it's valvey tone and dynamic response. Also mine is as loud as my Markbass Minimark head (which is rated 250w) through the same speakers. And it costs less than the MB200.
Checking the dimensions, the Interbass is a third of the size of the Mb200.
But mostly it's about the tone.

My main interest in the InterBass is using it as a portable amp for outdoor gigs without wall outlets, but I am not 100% sure how I would be able to provide it with power (although it seems like the TalentCell I mentioned earlier might do the trick).

Still finding such a wide array of tones...ALL usable! I have had so many amps that have lots of different sounds but typically only ONE good one. Interbass45 has at least FORTY-FIVE sounds and I like them all. I put it side-by-side w/ my miniMega (which is great) and to say it punches above it's weight is really true. I keep going back to the Interbass because it takes way less time to dial in a great sound...within seconds I can go from high-clarity for fretless to Motown thonk and then slide over to '70s fuzz with minimal twiddle. I adore this amp~
Pyrat - totally agree with the idea that it's the TONE that sets the Interbass apart. Even if it were double the size and weight it would be worth it for the tonal options. I'm more the kind of guy who's looking to dial in one particular tone, rather than dozens of different ones, but it's also great for that.
On the battery power issue, one detail that tripped me up -- the power connection is a 5.5 x 2.5 mm jack. Most DC plugs are 5.5 x 2.1 and they won't fit because the middle pin on the Interbass is bigger than normal.
