Great as a preamp too. Completely cured my Noble gas. I can't imagine a better tone is out there for me.
Haven’t tried it that way, my Mesa has a killer tone. Might use the Interbass that way with my Acoustic tho

Good to know, thanks! The combo you've described is just exactly what I feel when I pair my BB800 with One10, very solid sounding unit. Hopefully InterBass will sound similar.
In full range mode it will sound similar to the BB800. In vintage mode it will sound even better!

Sure I will after I get one! I've owned many class D amps but the Quilter BB800 replaced them all, never looked back. Can’t say for sure, but IME with the BB800, I think there is some HPF and LPF built into the Quilter sound.
interesting you say that. I’ve owned the noble and just got the inter bass. Plugged into the inter bass with headphones and I was like wow
I’m surprised this didn’t pick up more steam. It really seems awesome and the Quilter tone is great. I had a BB800 that I absolutely loved. I had to sell for $ reasons but I rarely had it over 45w setting as well.

I haven’t seen many InterBass units on used market. I think the people who have tried them are holding on to them. Maybe when gig $ comes back I will get one to compare to my Aguilar TH pedal. I like what the TH brings to the BB800 and imagine there are some similarities with the InterBass as a preamp.
The Interbass will be my next equipment purchase. It will be useful for me in many instances. I used to have a BB800 but never needed all the power it was capable of putting out so I downsized to a small wattage amp. It is rare I do a gig that doesn't have good house sound.

It's a killer little amp, I use it with the Quilter 12 all the time.
Count me in as another happy interbass user, as of a couple days ago... While I haven't had the opportunity to play with others yet, I have no doubt it will work exceptionally well for me. What has pleasantly surprised me the most, outside of the volume it produces, is the quality of tone and how easy it is to get a great sound. I'm playing through a GR Bass 208 and it's like a completely different cabinet. The best way for me to describe the tone, whether in vintage or modern mode, is thick yet articulate.
Is yours a 4 or 8 ohm Wizzy M-Line? I've got a 4 ohm sitting collecting dust. I've had it on CL forever. Nobody wants a little 4 ohm cab. I'm thinking about getting an Interbass to make use of the EA for home use. Do you think that would be a loud (for home) little rig? I think the Wizzy driver is 200 watts? All 45 watts into it oughta make some racket.
Mine's a 4 ohm, and that plus and interbass is a really nice rig. I have used exactly that for practice a few times, and it's been more than enough grunt for a classic country band. I was plenty loud for practice and could have turned up much louder. A really nice fat tubey sound as well.
