I too play with a black sweatband on my right wrist!
Showing up to audition knowing at least 2 songs from the band with working gear and bass and tuning my bass apparently is a surprising quirky thing. Every time bands are surprised and sadly i'm not joking.
Octaves, I play lots of octaves, and not (or not just) as double-stops, but in my lines.
Hit the 1 - I mean, like 90% of the time when I write or improv.
And swing - apparently that's a thing not enuff bassists do.
I credit playing guitar inna funk trio years ago and really listening to the bass for the first time.
Finally, and as posted before, I never change my strings, only replace the broken or really worn-out.

I tune GDAE(B, if it's there). I do not leave the tuner clipped to my headstock. I always bring at least two basses to a gig, but usually only play one. When playing with only one guitarist, I prefer to be stage right. If there are two, I don't care. Since the early 2000s, (and it was rare then) I will not be seen onstage wearing shorts. Almost never in blue jeans, either. Nearly always black pants.
I wear my bass high on my body...the bottom of my bass is usually above my belt line. I've been accused of wearing it as a necklace...but it's about the same height Victor Wooten wears his.
I also play all over the neck and use all 4 strings regularly. Lots of octaves and double stops, I almost always finish a song with a double stop.

I always equip my mic stand with 5 or 6 picks attached to my pick holder. Wierd thing is, out of the 50 or so songs my band plays ,only about 20 of them I use a pick on. I rarely drop my picks so, I never use more than 1 or 2. I would say that qualifies as OCD-Quirky!
I always play with a Sweatband on my right wrist - it prevents friction between the bass and my forearm / wrist.... it is not just for good looks

Mebbe I should start a new thread, but do you not encounter the expectation that, as the bassist, it is your job to help load the drummer?

I identify with several that have been mentioned.
I clip my nails before any show, I always wash my hands about a half hour before going on, I tune ADGE, I have a bunch of basses but have only played out with 3, I have a foam alligator that I put on my amp, I put green electrical tape on my chords, mic and mic stands, and maybe one new one:
I like the tone of my basses unplugged better than plugged in.

I've got a couple of white Nike ones that I use, but I do have a green one somewhere
During my heyday (hayday? I don't know) I used to wear a neon green and a black one on each wrist. But in opposite order. Yep, still odd.
