Wow! I just read in the manual that Alkaline batteries should last 12 hrs and NiCad only 4.5!!!! Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Rechargeables never last as long as non-rechargeable alkalines, and NiCads last the least.

So I'm thinking of upgrading my G30 to a G70. Guitarist wants to buy my G30. Is the G70 worth the $500?

It would be (for me) if it had an effects loop, I could replace 3 pedals to 1 if it did. (G30, tuner, DI)
