I have an original first gen XDS95 that I've had since they came out. I tried to sell it long ago before the price of used ones went down then just kept it stuffed away. So just for $#!+$ and giggles, pulled it down and used it on an outdoor gig this afternoon. I was amazed that I didn't want to pull it out and go wired, but it sounded fine.
I remember trying it before and really felt that it made my signal sound thin and missing something. My rig has changed and I'm using a OD and compressor pedal but I don't see how that matters.
I know Line 6 makes these now but I have not followed the models or generations. This model is 24 bit UHF, 20hz to 16Khz.
Any comments welcome.
