Bananas, peanut butter DKB toast, and a tall glass of water. For some reason, coffee does not sound appealing this morning, so I passed.

For the first time in a couple weeks, the temps are going to stay below 80. No rain, which we need, but the lower temps should make sitting on the back patio more comfortable.

I had bacon and coffee today. I've been on a no-carb "diet" (read: lifestyle change) since late April, and I am appreciating the results. Thick-cut bacon, cooked extra crispy in the oven, and Guatemalan coffee with heavy cream and stevia. I usually also have some eggs (fried in bacon fat), but I was short on time this morning. It was a rather lovely start to a quiet Friday.

Oh my, it's been a few weeks.

I kicked off my busy day with some sourdough toast covered in PB, and a pour over made with some Ethiopian beans I roasted last week. It's damp and rainy out this way today.

In other news, jibjab.com now has the Friday video up and available for editing to place your faces on. I've been having some fun with it today.

We let this one slip a couple months, time to fire it back up.

Steel cut oats with NH maple syrup and a tall glass of water starts off our busy Friday. Minor league hockey, Seattle Thunderbirds, on the agenda for tonight. Woot!
