Racist friends

unfortunately, it's my family that's racist.

+1

I have friends that tell racist jokes but their hearts aren't into them and they're ashamed if they're called out, but on the other side of the coin I have family members with some warped beliefs who are stunned that I don't share them. I can't complain to much tho; I've met supremacists who scare the hell out of me. Having a lot of familiy in East Texas and further East than that I'd be surprised if I didn't have ancestors that wore hoods despite the denials of living relatives (the same ones who can tell me what's in the heart of the *insert minority of choice here* man).

My biggest shame? How many years it took me to realize the biggest problems between people aren't their skin color or sexual orientation but rather their bigotry. I'm still growing up.

And out :(

i have friends that are like that and i do enjoy some ethnic jokes occasionally(I may even tell a few once in a while) but there is a fine line between joking and being serious. And there are some kids that i know that are just downright ignorant when u talk to them about an kind of race. Like they'll always point out something stereotypical about a certain kind of person like for example this one idiot i know says that "all blacks do is steal tv's and smoke crack" which is totally stupid and unintelligent. Its just amazing how some kids can be so uneducated
