I've got a Gallien-Krueger 700RB-II on order, and I'm not entirely sure what size rack case to get. I don't want anything else rack-wise at the minute, so I just want a size that will just fit the amp.

Any help will be MUCH appreciated!

Cheers

Do not get the Gator. I hated mine. The latches are on the case, not the lids and they rattle like crazy. The holes for the mounting screws stripped out for no reason. And the latches eventually gave out, we'd be unloading the trailer and the case would just be open! Garbage!!!
I recently purchased one of the SKB Shallow 2U: Link Removed
And I love it! One of my favorite pieces of gear! I'm sure the ATA SKB case you linked to is awesome also.

BTW: I have the 700RB II also. Fits great!

Just a heads up .. the GR shallow Gators now come with the latches on the lids, not the case .. I have a couple and they have worked fine ...

.. even on the SKB molded cases I have, if I am going to be doing a lot of traveling/packing/unpacking, and especially if I am not going to be handling them myself, I usually just run a strip of gaffers tape over the latches so I dont need to worry about them .. I end up using the tape strips for set-up each night anyhow ...
