Has this piqued anyone's interest?

The [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] muting DI box seems to be (key word – “seems”) basically a J48 sonically speaking. I notice there may be some slight difference in phase deviation, but I was told that the product hasn’t been released “due to some revisions”. The feature set is perfect for my needs in live situations, but only if it is sonically J48 quality. My tone preference is a passive J-type bass directly into my amp and into the board using a Radial J48. I don't want ANYTHING else in the signal path - not even my tuner. On some gigs I don't even use a backline amp.

It does have a couple of advantages over the J48, like the option to power from the included external power supply as well as phantom power, and a transformer isolated output for the stage amp.

I also play some gigs as an acoustic guitarist, so the phase inversion and hi pass switches would come in handy in those situations. One DI would cover both kinds of gigs

I’ll be curious to hear what others learn about this box, and what people who actually get their hands on one say about it. It’s a specialty piece, so I don’t know what kind of luck I’ll have finding a stocking dealer.
