This is terrible news - I got the email from her husband too - I can't even begin to imagine what he must be going through...

I met Rana at NAMM, and we exchanged emails a number of times - he was a fine player, a talented musician and a great presence on The Bottom Line for quite a few years...

John will certainly be in my thoughts and prayers over the coming weeks
