Where did you hear that? I live 40 miles north of the City and haven't heard that on the local NYC news. The two guys convicted found guilty on June 9th arent due for sentencing until August...

A whole lot of wild conjecturing and nobody noticed when the first convictions went through.

The verdicts made the local news in New York. I think that there was a lot of outrage when this initially happened because of the brutality of the beating these guys gave to the driver. But the reason this was so compelling was because of the video. If the video of the court verdicts was anywhere near as dramatic as what was captured on the West Side Highway that day, then it absolutely would have been big news.
