Rant - crazy mom

I wouldn't do taht if I were you. Personally, I'd play it safe and do absolutely superb in spanish ending the quarter with a 99.9 and your mom will be so pleased that she buys you the rig to end all rigs. Go ahead and try to be sneaky, but from experience I know that that sort of stuff never works and just gets you into more dog doo.
Your choice, though.

Alex, your mother has taught you that:
1. Life isn't always fair
2. Life isn't always easy
3. People will make unreasonable demands on you
4. People will have bad judgement
5. You will need to accept, deal with and rise above this

I don't know if she did the right thing for the wrong reason or the wrong thing for the right reason.
Either way, she's batting .500 and that ain't too shabby

Life is a crucible and hardship makes you stronger.

Thank her

Exactly. I can't believe there's 20 pages of encouraging retaliation against his own mother.

Alex, I know your young, and it seems like the thing to do at the time. Your smart, use your brain and do a benefit vs risk analysis on this.
I'll bet it takes a lot of umpiring to get a new rig without her help.
We were all young and thought we could get away with anything. We all forget our parents were young once too. My daughter is 20, so if she is my age or younger, she grew up in the 70's or 80's, and there isn't much we haven't seen.
