Rant - crazy mom

My parents used to just ground me and take away my computer and video game privilages. Hopefully, they haven't realized that now that I play bass, I don't care about those other things.

Then again, the huge show I made on Christmas after getting my Spector Q5 Pro may have tipped them off...

No, sorry. No digital camera. Better!

:hyper:

Alright. My mom said that all I have to do is get an "A" in Spanish for the semester and she might replace my stack!:hyper:

This isn't going to be easy, though, since a 95% and up is an A in that class. I have like a 95.2% right now. Gotta hold on!

If I kept the grades I have right now, (4.8 gpa) she'll probably buy me something even a little better! :hyper:

I'm out of a rig until summer though, regardless. :hmm:

You know what I was just thinking? Since I have the receipt for when I bought my stack, I could go in to GC (without my mom knowing) and say that I've decided not to sell it (I'm banking on the 30 day policy) and buy them back for what my mom sold them for. Then I can sell them for what they're really worth. Make at least a few hundred right there. Good plan, or flawed?

I kinda figured she'd replace it eventually, don't do anything to screw it up. FYI, I sold a PR-410HLF to GC less than a month ago and it's gone. The head is on the floor w/ a price tag on it. I bought that cab used the day after the other guy sold it. I don't think they work like pawn shops. No 30 day hold.
On another note you may have the recipt, but you said she bought it on her credit card. That would make it look like your stealing it.
Just get an A and hope she feels like upgrading a little. She's trying to give you an easy out.
