Rat Fur + Cat =

Teachable moment. Probably shouldn't have let the kids listen to it, but what's done is done.

I had that experience playing it at a huge brew fest a decade ago. I though the kids' parents were going to kick my butt, but they actually wanted to buy a CD, go figure.

Best of luck with the repair BTW. A lint removal sticky roller contraption sometimes works ok, depending on the amount of damage and whether it's just pilling or more like tearing.

Hey do you have a sister? When my favorite leather office chair (which my sister wanted badly!) got a million little tears in it from a very angry cat, I donated the chair to her. She didn't complain and still uses it (20 years later)! I think I also donated the cat now that I think of it.

If the cat is tearing into your cab, then chances are that it's tearing into other things around your home like furniture, carpet, etc.
I've saved the cloth grill on an old bassman cab and the upholstery on a brand new sofa by having both of my cats declawed.

And I already know what folks are going to say about it being inhumane, but we as humans are the ones who long ago made the choice to domesticate cats and ignore any of the repercussions like animals destroying our possessions with urine or their natural instinct to claw. Call me a jerk, but if you're going to own cats in their natural form, you don't have a reason to gripe.

Haha.

Actually the section of the cats toe the first joint is removed in the declawing procedure.
I wouldn't have had it done if the cats where not destroying my stuff.
Never the less, the best $300 dollars I ever spent.
It also saved thousands in home furnishings and apartment security deposits.
