RBX 260 Refinish

Spidey2112 will not be happy with me, since he counselled patience! I finally got around to gluing the crack in the head stock. However, I made a gouge in the opposite side of the head stock with the clamp, since I was careless and, apparently, impatient.

Diluted and applied some TiteBond II. I don't know how much, if any, wicked into the crack.

Sorry to hear, 5... definitely could have been worse... as if all of us haven't been in a similar situation. Let's put a positive spin on it... You get to enjoy what you're doing, a little bit longer.

Right! I got back to work. Sanded the crack, etc. and reapplied finish. I may be in store for lots more work - I notice another crack now - very shallow but there. Dang it! I'm tempted to just soak the head stock in glue once I'm happy with the stain job...

Sanded back the gouge from the clamp. I didn't want to make it worse, so I didn't try to sand...

Here's the crack off the E tuner - glued, sanded, scraped. Very smooth. Can't feel the crack...
