I am looking for some information/advice. Recently, I purchased a 1983 Fender Precision Elite II. I knew I was going to change out the pickups back to a double P configuration (it was in a P+slanted J configuration). I bought this thinking I would need to replace some of the wiring along with the pickups.
The crux of the problem is that it turns out that the active preamp is missing. Would anyone be able to suggest an appropriate replacement for the onboard preamp?
