re-wiring a cab

My amp runs at 2/4/8 ohms, @ 450/330/200. Would it be worth turning my 2x10 8 ohm cab into a 2 ohms cab to get 450 watts instead of 200?

IIRC, the 8 ohm B210 Deltas were loaded with two 16 ohm Delta 10s wired in parallel...that's as low as you can go.

If you pull one speaker out the Eminence data is on the silver sticker on the side of the magnet. Or better yet, shoot Dave an email at [email protected] and ask him. You'll probably get an answer back pretty quickly.

What drivers? Most tens are displacement limited to 100 watts or less anyway. You'd only get a significantly higher output by adding another cab.
