My cat does that from underneath the bed, especially when we have a long spread or comforter on that hangs down to the floor. He'll run under and wait at he foot of the bed... and when wifey or I walk by, he'll pop out, box our achilles a few times in a second, duck back in and wait for us to walk by again.MikeyFingers said:Sometimes my cat will hide under the dining room table and just waits for me to walk by so he can ambush me.
When I pass him, he waits till I'm almost out of the room, then sprints after me, jumps in the air, and slaps the sh** out of my leg like 10 times in a half second, then runs away.
Midnight Jazz said:Oh yeah... my dog Oreo was like a crack fiend when it came to Pepsi. One of my sister's boyfriend had an unfinished cup of Pepsi, so he feeds it to Oreo right out of the cup. From that point forward, when either of us would pull a 2-liter out of the fridge, he's go nuts panting, standing, hyper-pacing, just begging for a taste.
Eric Cameron said:We used to have a cat that thought it was a heavyweight champion or something. It would routinely face down much larger opponents, like say a Dalmatian, a Husky, and a racoon. When we pulled up the boards on our front deck to do some work, we found several dozen little critter skeletons under there. Birds, squirrels, chipmunks, a snake, rats, even a baby possum. That cat was a serial killer.
But he LOVED people. And if you didn't pet him when he wanted, he would bite your hand.

Eric Cameron said:Prizefighter cats are always amusing. They walk around, acting all nice and fluffy, wanting to be petted. Then another cat comes in the yard, and it's like living with a Tazmanian Devil!! Sebastian (for that twas his name) never really went in for the yowling thing with other cats. The other cat would start yowling, and Sebastian would simply go for the throat. I think it kind of suprised those other cats, who were expecting a "anything you can sing I can sing louder" competition.
Rock on

Happened at our party Saturday when the group retired downstairs to watch a DVD. Can't leave goodies alone for two minutes.Lost the tablecloth, cat is fine.
Kitty is just fine. My wife said that he acted contrite the next day, but I don't believe that for a second. He was probably just disappointed that he didn't get to the butter!jay_t said:Wow! It only takes one time huh? Did your cat get burned? I hope not.
