Hate all of them

Rob

You know what Rob????
I say screw Roger Sadowsky and just to prove it to him, evertime he posts up a new one, someone buy it REAL fast so he can't leave it up there.
That way he'll just have to build more. He'll be so pissed that he has to work so much that he'll have to spend more money and hire more guys to try to fool us.
But OOOOHHHH NOOOOOO, see, we'll be watching. And waiting, because he will eventually try and sneak one up there, and when he does..........POW!!!!!!!, one of us will snatch it up. And he'll just be forced to build more!!!!!!!

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

After all these years, I finally broke down, called Roger and actually ordered an instrument - what essentially amounts to the 5 string analog of #4534.:hyper:

The one new thing is that Roger told me that they are now offering a 1 3/4" nut width for the 5's - which is essentially the same as my SR5 and should be similar to my Jazzes for string spacing at the nut. Cool.

8 months and counting. Let's see, now I'll need to sell an Alembic, the SR5, a '62 RI.... :ninja:

Edit: 4/6 - In fact, I forgot, there will be another difference. I went for alder instead of ash.

Roger, you'll never sell this one... it isn't fancy enough. I'll take it off your hands for $100. I'll even throw in shipping, too. :hiding: :D

I played this one when I was in the shop last week. VERY nice bass. I don't usually like anything more than 4 strings, but this was a definite player, and absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

That used fretless, though, is really taunting me. I loved playing that thing. I keep trying to come up with an excuse not to put myself in debt to buy it.
