Really unfortunate Fail

I remember watching that game. I TIVO'd it because the actual game was on Valentine's day. Watching the next day my girlfriend said right off the bat that it was fake. Not just because the woman is clearly looking up at the cameras but because she makes gestures the way someone does when they are acting for a big crowd.

She was quick to add that if she was put in that situation she would fake cry (something she is able to do far too convincingly), hug me and then as we walked off the court, softly mutter, "I want your stuff out of my place by the end of the week."

I don't think she was kidding.

I'm not looking to burn anyone here who may have done such a thing, but guys who propose during sporting events are douchebags. Unless the girl is a super die hard sports fan, it's really really lame. Aside from being completely unoriginal, I can't think of anything less romantic. A majority of women (all that I have personally met) are not sports fans, it would be like if a woman proposed to a man at Jo Anne Fabric. Weddings are pretty much for women, it's man and wife, but it's the chick's show, try a little harder to make the proposal for her and maybe she won't say no.

My brother took this too far in the other direction. My sister-in-law TOLD him how and when she wanted him to propose (during a party at her parents house, in his police uniform, in front of her friends) and he actually did. I'm not sure which of those two scenarios is more unappealing to me.

To me, a marriage proposal should be spontaneous. Like for instance, right after the pregnancy test shows a positive.

That weightlifting fail was hilarious, I just love the "I'm so TUFF I'm going to weightlift topless and put it on youtube" and then screaming for MAMMA MAMMAAAAAAA, so great.

My gf would love it if I proposed to her at Wrestlemania!
