i have not kept up with the Devi bashing but will say when I went thru some of her pedals a while back she was responsive and fun to communicate with, so sad to see her struggling cuz while not my cuppa tea her pedals had a certain cool grunge punk quality.

She's always struggling though. This is about far more than her financial struggles. She is trying to breach a contract and act like a child until she gets her way. People are giving her money even though she admits to only have half the failed Kickstarter funds paid back. What's that? 10K still? Something like that? I'm sorry she's having trouble but she needs to stop being this way to succeed.

There are apparently enough crazy people out there that claim to support her, but in truth do they? If so, why aren't they throwing money at her? The whole thing is disgusting.

So she states:

- she sold for $5k plus 5% of wholesale
- at one point she was getting $1k per month from deals (this has now dropped off to $180).

How was any of that an issue? She messed up what seems like was a very good thing.

@Mosfed. Your in business, as am I. Have you done the math? Holy poopie. We need to invest in dwarfcraft. NOW. 5% of wholesale equals $1000 per month?

i just saw that fb page the other day i thought that was bad using that facebook name when dwarftcraft already purchase the devi ever brand.

i read rumours mentioning the money that she received from the console kickstarter wasnt used into the development of the product instead she use it to fund an extremist feminist group or something.

i still wished the console design is being continued though look like a cool concept.

So much so that the numbers just can't make sense.

She's trying to make it seem like she sold out for a song. But there is no way Dwarfcraft nets that. Or at least I don't think there is anyway...

I've not followed this at all. Could someone in the know summarise what's going on please?

The basics:

Devi sold her business to Dwarfcraft. Dwarfcraft did a much better job with it than she ever did and suddenly she had second thoughts. So she breaks the contract, breaks the non-compete, and decides to start making pedals again - even though the designs belong to Dwarfcraft. And somehow she is the victim.

Oh did I mention she did a Kickstarter, didn't deliver the product and never returned the money?

Yeah there's so much other drama to her story also...
In a way i feel sorry for her, she seems to be a brilliant maker of crazy pedals. I first came in contact with her stuff in early 2000-something with her effector13 brand. Insane fuzzes, noicy as hell but fun lol
It's just sad she can't keep her drama out of the internet for everyone to see. Oh and the scams...
It's just trouble anywhere she lands. She should really had someone that worked on the whole business part, and herself only built and designed stuff. Kept her out of all forums and chats, but oh well...
