My favorite - so she was making $20k a month from the pedal business - I am assuming this is either revenue or profits. But she sold for $5k plus 5%? Yeah right.

Not sure if you were ever a member on the harmony central FX forum but she often claimed to be making obscenely large amounts of money (well into six figures) and then she'd suddenly be 100% broke with no savings and be mere moments from homelessness. Long story short she pretty obviously suffers from some pretty serious mental illness and is not someone to be trusted or encouraged.

Devi has been wicked sketchy for years, coming and going from the scene, never really stable. Some of her pedals are great, she was being creative back when everyone else was making TS clones, but she's never been the kind of person I'd trust with my money.

I don't kiss and tell, but I did watch a one time close friend who was one of the worlds premier boutique amp builders flush his life down the toilet as a result of paranoia, alcoholism and drug use. It's a doozy of a story, but you had to be there when it all finally snowballed into a meltdown that resulted in assault charges, lost contracts and lawsuits. Sad to say the least.
