As a drummer primarily, I play bass, guitar, & keyboards too. This continual nonsense of bashing....you know all the names you use! It’s barely humorous. Grow the f up and think about what it takes to be a better player. And a team player. Bands are a dime a dozen. Either you’re happy with your situation or walk away. Communication is the key! I’ve played with some incredibly talented musicians and some that had minimal experience. You can’t go wrong with either - assuming the passion ia there!

I'm lucky enough to be in an area with very talented drummers, I've never had an issue with drummers ever. really good guitarists on the other hand, are ironically in short supply. It seems to be an ongoing joke for guitarists to s**t on the bassists but other than the occasional drummer jokes here and there I've never really seen drummers take much heat haha

That all being said, when I was growing up my dad did tell me that the biggest rivalries in bands actually occur between the bassists and drummers if they can't connect and get in that pocket. Thankfully I've never experienced that and rarely ever see that around where I'm from
