Really?!

I actually somewhat agree with the OP, there is a ton of negativity towards guitarists on this site, some jokingly, some direct, and definitely some passive-aggressive comments too.

I think you may be one of the first people to assume that his post was directed at guitarist-bashing. If you're correct, then I may actually be more inclined to agree.

The only reason I assume this is while many people here joke about firing the drummer, the only derogatory names I see people use are directed towards guitarists. And the OP mentioned using names:

As a drummer primarily, I play bass, guitar, & keyboards too. This continual nonsense of bashing....you know all the names you use!

Grow the f up and think about what it takes to be a better player. And a team player. Bands are a dime a dozen. Either you’re happy with your situation or walk away. Communication is the key! I’ve played with some incredibly talented musicians and some that had minimal experience. You can’t go wrong with either - assuming the passion ia there!

While I agree, one does not have to be a jerk to be a musician, talent does have a tendency to float to it’s own level, and that can be collective talent or individual talent.
