Reccomend me some good Blues Rock.

Robben Ford and the Blue Line. The one from the early 90's with all three of them on the cover.

Just a few artists I enjoy, but here it goes.

Janis Joplin put out some great blues rock stuff, good mix of blues and psychedelic rock, along with the voice of an alcoholic.
Zeppelin is a must, Cream is a must.
EARLY Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green is the damn finest. Get the first 2 records and the live in chicago one, and Then Play On if you want a little more prog with your blues.

After you listen to the first Fleetwood album, though, listen to some Leadbelly, Rev. Gary Davis, Buddy Guy and some Doctor Ross The Harmonica Boss. THATS blues to the max.

I've been on a blues rock kick lately. Been listening to a lot of the Black Keys, Hendrix, Stevie Ray, and Blues Traveler.

Reccomend me some good groups. Thanks guys.
willy dixon, little walter, the king family, albert ,freddy,bb,john mayall.....if you really want to explore the form, unplug the amps and dig into to delta, piedmont, texas, ragtime guys......it's a great ride....

Cream. Clapton. Led Zeppelin. ZZ Top. Allman Brothers. Lynyrd Skynyrd. Yardbirds. Bluesbreakers. 10 Years After. Creedence Clearwater Revival. Big Brother and the Holding Company. The Doors. Moby Grape. Santana.

It's hard with some of them, because what's defined as "blues rock" is so fuzzy - where does it get too psychedelic to be straight blues rock, and instead becomes psychedelic rock? Where does it turn from straight blues to blues rock? Where does it turn to just straight rock?

But what's been suggested is a great place to start. And really, the labels don't matter. It's just about what you dig and what you don't. Dig on what you dig, don't worry about what you don't.
