I don't believe so. Pete Cosey, who later played with Miles Davis, plays guitar. Not sure about the rest of the band.
You are thinking of "Fathers And Sons",a much more pure blues record.
Louis Satterfield plays bass on Electric Mud.
The OP question wasn't Blues....it was Blues Rock. Howling Wolf shaped it, but he didn't play it.

Nobody mentioned George Thorogood?? His stuff may be a bit more on the rock side, but much of it is really hard-core blues. In addition, his stuff STOMPS!
