Recent pawn shop treasure

Congrats! AWSOME score. Pawn shop?
I wonder if Chum Lee got hollered at, when Rick found out how cheap he sold it?!

Thanks, guys! I'm still looking for info on the Trace Elliot, if anyone knows anything about them. Also, if anyone knows where to find an Aria Pro II Avante AVB-40 (4 string) in transparent green, I'm awful on the hunt. I have a couple in natural and black, but I want to replace one that was stolen years back.

Beautiful bass which you got for a steal my friend.

Serial number dates it as 1985. This is Ibanez' "second run" of the series. The construction is the same as the older ones but for these later ones they put a more modern bridge, "covered" pickups (i.e. no exposed pole pieces) and streamlined the electronics controls.

To see the A/B of these changes here is an old listing of an older MC924. Notice all the control knobs!

Thanks for the info, I'm glad I got the newer version, honestly. I heard this is the model and body style that all soundgears are based on. I have no idea where to look for info on that kind of stuff (save Google). What're your opinions on my Trace Elliot amp?

Forgot the pics! And the serial number is L850880. If anyone can give me some info about it (history, original price, current value, etc.), I'd be extremely grateful.
You found that beautiful brown wood Bass with that nice of gold quality hardware on it for $200.00 NICE JOB!! I'm going to start checking out all the dozens of pawn shops in my area right now.

Thanks. I'm just broke, that's why I rake the pawn shops so much. Just something I learned to do and have been doing since I was a kid. Maybe I'm just lucky. My first bad was a Kawai FIIB that my mother bought for $75 out of a pawn shop. Fool that I was, I sold it for $75 (don't judge, I was 18, and didn't know a damn thing). I got nostalgic a while back and after researching them some, realized what I'd done. To this day, I kick myself for that!
