Recent pawn shop treasure

Forgot the pics! And the serial number is L850880. If anyone can give me some info about it (history, original price, current value, etc.), I'd be extremely grateful.

Beautiful bass which you got for a steal my friend.

Serial number dates it as 1985. This is Ibanez' "second run" of the series. The construction is the same as the older ones but for these later ones they put a more modern bridge, "covered" pickups (i.e. no exposed pole pieces) and streamlined the electronics controls.
