Recommend a cab

Mike Arnopol's MAS112 works great as a one-cab solution for me. (Sadowsky Will Lee 5 with SS rounds, GK MB800; bar band with no FOH support.) Clean, but not sterile. Sits in the mix but doesn't get lost.

Those look nice Jim but I'll be honest- I've become spoiled by my neo cabs. 72lbs each...

I don't really hate to say this, but if you want full spectrum performance, light weight, and cheap, with no DIY, then you are doomed, and not maybe in a good way, IMHO!

So heavy really matters when you have such a detailed cab/tone recipe? Just wow...

To me, the tone and the "loud" are tied for number one! Just me.

When you do the kind of gigs I do, it matters. Lots of parking garage/3rd level down/elevator to ballroom/through the kitchen etc..... Really gotta get it done one trip.
I know I'm asking for a lot. Just want to explore options.

One I do like quite a lot is my Schroeder 15+l. It's got the best tweeter sound and creamy upper mids/decent low mids. Really nice overall tone. But it's not enough for my gigs and runs out of low end at times. I'd maybe consider getting another but mine's 4 ohms. Anybody try his 215?

does he do an 8Ω version of the cab you have? maybe a speaker swap and a second matching 8Ω cab is the ticket.

i know my two compact LDS single 15s do the "fat but not sub-y rock & roll low end" thing beautifully.
