Recommend me some 7-string bands

I am looking at getting into an originals band and I just found out the guitarist(s) use 7 string guitars.

I've not listened to a lot of bands with that setup, and I think Tool and Meshuggah use 7-strings, but I wouldn't mind hearing more.

Can anyone recommend some 7-string guitarists and bands to listen to.

Any genre, I'm not fussy as I need to get my ears used to listening to that whole 7-string/5-string low B type music.

Thanks!

Tool doesn't use 7-strings
Oh, haha. My bad. :)

Thanks for that link. Didn't think there would be such a specific wiki haha.

Meshuggah uses 8's
Doh! again. Twice. I didn't know they used 8's, and if someone threatened my life to answer whether there were 8 string guitars correctly, I'd have been guessing! :hiding:

Dream Theater
Woohoo, I got one right. Wicked. I have some of their stuff. Listening to As I Am now :D

Thanks guys.

I'm pretty sure FLAW (awesome band!) plays 7 strings,...

just checked yeah at least a few songs,...

awesome bass lines in there too ;)

love this song

also can't think of any right now but im pretty sure alot of 90's metal bands got into the 7 string stuff?

I thought coal chamber did but they just play in A,E,A,D,G,B apparently... same stuff sorta :P I quite like coal chamber (loco, my frustration, clock, I, dark days, not living... just a few there)

apparently fear factory, lacuna coil and deftones as well :)

the number one band that came to mind was korn :)
