recommendations for bass distortion pedals? please? anyone?

I have a Fulltone Bass Drive MOSFET. This is by far the best OD/fuzz box I ever used. It is very versatile and very transparent.

it's pretty expensive dude...and the big muff sounds better IMO...

The FEA Dual Distortion is very well thought out. It doesn't get quite as gainy as I would like, BUT it gets quite distorted AND will still be heard clearly in the mix.

Also you could try a Tech Bass XXL distortion,. It has more gain on tap than the FEA Dual Distortion, but not as good sounding nor tweak-able.

It is nice to be able to distort separately the low and high bands, blend in your clean signal, blend in octave, choose the overall your frequency range shelf.
