Others have mentioned ATH D40, which seems to be the extra bass version. The M version is not short of bass, but you can never have too much bass.

I 'spose the choice is down to your use. Listening to bass heavy music for fun, get the extra bass. Engineering a mix, get the flat response.

If you can get that budget up to $60, the Shure SRH240A's are great cans for the price point.

I'll probably be using them for practice and maybe some everyday use, maybe the standard, non-extra bass version would be good.
