Recording Bass Covers with iRig HD2

Hello all! Hopefully a quick question...

I just picked up an iRig HD2 and want to record covers of myself playing along with songs. I know the "complicated way" to do this with something like Audition to capture audio (or Garageband) and then syncing that with the recorded video, but am hoping there's a simpler solution?

I want to be able to play a song and then record that track + bass...Thoughts?

the LE version doesn’t seem to let me record the background music with my covers. Does the full version?

Of course, Radar Love was recorded with a Gibson EB-3.
