Recording clean and distorted tone on darkglass amp at the same time

I’m trying to figure out how to record the clean lows and distorted highs at the same time using Logic Pro x with my darkglass amp. I saw in the manual that the di out bipasses the need for I di box in my chain.

My chain will be.... bass-preamp-interface-Logic Pro x. So any help would be great on explaining how I need to set up my gear to get both signals on two separate tracks on logic .

Thanks!

If you really want to record the live track with the amp's distortion, use a DI in front of the amp's input for the clean track and the amp's DI for the dirty track. This assumes you have two inputs on your interface and that those two inputs can be assigned to separate tracks and recorded simultaneously.
