Double Bass Red Eye Preamp

Did Fire Eye go under? I got a new Alter Ego EUB that could really use one, but they’re sold out and unavailable new or used anywhere…? Anyone have one they want to flip/trade?

I've just had a back and forth with the folks at Fire-Eye. No worries! They did not go under. They're currently reorganizing and in the middle of a move, as the founder is retiring, and this as put them on a temporary production hiatus.

So hopefully that won't drag on too long, but they are still perfectly viable, AFAIK, and should be back to making their wonderful toys very soon.

Has anyone tried a redeye or a Bright Eye into a Broughton Messenger?

I’ve lost my Red Eye twice. It’s now missing and I think we just aren’t meant to be.

Sorry to hear that, it’s always in my kit. I be lost without it.
