REDDI Tube DI Mega-thread-III

Hello, what's the latest word on this Stereo-REDDI / BUDDI / Rack REDDI?

I was told not to do this but I could use some help here.

We have been working on 3 new products that I will be showing at Jimmy's Event on the 5th of April.

I thought that showing just this one product wouldn't hurt :rollno:

I have a name for it but the one thing I need to know is do you think this will fly?

People tell me that they would like a rack mount of the REDDI and to just put one unit in a 19" was a waste of metal, space and costs.

Let me know what you think please?

PS.
I would like to call it "BUDDI"

I somehow missed this whole discussion, but now that I'm caught up: this format is awesome! Not a fan of BUDDI, as the REDDI name has so much weight to it (pun intended). I would vote for REDDI 2.0 or RackREDDI as far a name goes. You could also do a two-color LED (yellow and blue, for example) to visually indicate which channel is on, and they would show green when both channels are engaged.

How about the solid State Dual Mono 2 channel KGB from A-design... KGB, Keyboard,Guitar, Bass DI/Preamp.

No I have not. .But that is a good challenge... It (KBG) has ALLOT of gain. It will drive a power amp...
It has the super highest of hi quality ProAudio audio Cinemag transformers on the output.. If you want..You can saturate the OPT for some real nice tones. And it is Stereo. Or you can cascade Channel "A" into channel "B" for OD tones too....Its pretty happening

EDIT: Note the above KGB is only prototype,,,, Case changes are in CAD as we speak,,,,, I'm guessing by NAMM 2015 it will release?
I get so many THUMBS UP and inquiries from engineers and sound guys when i use my REDDI that i am afraid to rock the boat by using the KGB on a gig. .But I'm feeling a bit daring this week

Jumpcat and Steve have some great suggestions, too.

They are ALL good suggestions ;>)
I know at some point I will have to name her...............and that will be the last thing I do right now.
Getting it up and ready for prime time is the main concern more than anything BUT please keep them flowing and I'll keep an eye open for the perfect name ;>)

Thanks everyone,
