Reed James Neo in an Ibanez SR905?

So I picked up a set of Reed James Neos P2 size with wooden covers on Ebay for $100, arriving this Saturday. I now have the rather interesting choice of what to do with them (yes they where an impulse buy at that price). I have a Reed James MM in my Brubaker Brute but not a Neo, so I am unsure of the preamp to use. I have already upgraded my Ibanez SR905 to Bartolini Quad Coil Deeps, and that is the most obvious target for them, but that is also one of my 4 main working basses so I'm leery of screwing it up. I will obviously try and see, but does anyone have any advice on these? I have the original SR preamp still in the bass, does anyone have any experience on what works well on with these.

While I am doing the swap I will do a recording of the Bart Quads, pop back in the Mk1s and do the same and then do the same with RJs BTW, and post them online.

I have a set of Reed James NEO J/MM in my Black Brute. Matched it up with a Bart NTMB 4.6 Pre. I believe thay are now called HR 4.6's. The 5.4's give you more Mid control but the bass sounds great through a decent rig. The J Pup is a split Neo J Bar and the the MM Pup is two Neo Bars. This combo sounds good.

Reed James makes excellent Pups. Takes awhile to get them though. Took me 9 Mo to get mine but they are nice. However when I decided to sign on with Bartolini I made the No Soup for You List.
