Replacing a Roadstar's Electronics

I recently bought a 1987 Ibanez Roadstar for my friend, and well the guy who sold it to me failed to mention he decided to open it up and rewire it. I don't think this guy knew what he was doing cause the input didn't work consistently and the wiring and soldering doesn't really seem very well done either, so I've decided to just replace all the electronics and was wondering if anyone knows what kind of pots would be good to use and where to get them.

I have no idea, Here's a picture of the bass and the inside of it if it helps. and the serial number is F704745 if that helps either. And I believe there was a bottom pickup there originally, the guy said he installed the musicman pickup himself. sorry the pictures are a bad quality, I had to downsize them to put them on here.
