I believe that the Caset Hen is an almost legendary breed of guinea fowl, practically extinct, which once fed on rare woods like mahogany and teak for the mild buzz-like effect they had on it (known as the 'Mahogany Rush'). The Caset Hen is now considered rare, and the entire known population of this elusive bird now lives in North America's alder and swamp ash forests as an introduced species.
