Part of a lifeguards job is to prevent injuries by minimizing or eliminating hazardous situations or behaviors and that means to be observant to their surroundings not sit on a thrown and look kool for the girls/or guys.
Have you ever lost a child ?
Never said the contrary, stop trolling. I still think the lifeguards werent doing their jobs, and the lawsuit she will file will certainly prove it.
terribly sad .
to lose my child would destroy me ...
the ultimate responsibility for this tragedy falls on the parent ,
not the park or lifeguards ... imo .
Over 275 young children have drowned in buckets in the US since 1984.
"I want this to be known," Flores said between sobs. "I want to warn all parents that they need to watch their kids at all times, because (Great America) doesn't do their job."
Accidents happen(since that's what they are called).
Stefan Lessard lost his baby son like that a few years ago.
would you call the person who was caring for him an idiot ?
Accidents, for the most part, are preventable. Not knowing anything about the circumstances,I would say that the person caring for him was at the least very uninformed, careless or negligent.
Just about every time you read about something like this, you can bet a paycheck that it involves someone who lives in public housing or on welfare.
Don't know for sure because they didn't say here, but I'd bet it. Yay for the Great Society.
And Mr. Lassard is not on welfare indicating that tragic accidents where parents are to be responsible can happen anywhere no matter where one lives.
[/I]Great America is not responsible, they have taken a reasonable amount of precaution with six lifeguards, the blame lies squarely at her feet. She should have stopped her sentence after "at all times".
BTW what do you mean by California style?
Would this thing be run by the government?
If so, Diggler would bash the sh!te out of it.![]()
A small kid like that can drown silently without thashing and yelling for help, which is what the lifeguards are always on the lookout for.
