I'm not a big fan of the changed binding on the body... I would've gone flame maple all the way around, but that's me. Otherwise, I love everything about it!

Thanks. There is a slight taper to the Maple binding along the fingerboard that makes it appear wide. This bass will end up close to .70" spacing.

I'm not a fan of binding or beaver food. Getting rid of the rosewood/dots/crackle with a jet black refin would have been enough for me. But seriously - it looks really nice. Awesome job.

Actually, I think he didn't Bondo the bass....the light color makes me believe it was polyester putty. (another type of filler)

Thats even worse......less consistent with the density of wood, and it can only be applied up to 1/8 of an inch thick, he probably went past that.

Yeah, you can tell I take Auto Body at my school.
