Reverb problem

Did OP actually want viable answers for his question, or to just argue about how Reverb isn't any good?
Reverb's customer service is terrible. I had an issue a few months ago and I was never able to solve it. I lost about $100.
Paypal were sending me to reverb and I never had an answer from reverb.

Buyer feedback ≠ Seller feedback. Until you sell a certain amount of things they make you wait like 7-10 business days after the item is delivered to release the funds. Right, wrong, or indifferent that's how it works. I'm sure customer support has taken a dive since Etsy took over but unfortunately there's nothing you can do except wait.
I was looking for advice, experience of others. Seems that reverb is difficult with more than just me. I looked this up on Google and got a large amount of people who had similar experiences. When I get paid, not selling on reverb anymore. eBay is easier and pay promptly
Honestly, Reverb isn't what it used to be. Once they sold out to Etsy a few years ago that's when it began to go downhill.
What I want to know is how the OP was able to talk to a customer service rep on the phone. As far as the deposits go, this is standard procedure for Reverb and PayPal to verify your bank account. They will often say that whey will send two small deposits and actually only send one. It is no big deal, as long as the account is verified. Many posters have mentioned that Reverb has gone downhill since selling to Etsy. They are right, and recently it has become a haven for scammers. And now they have to send a form 1099 if your annual earnings are over $600. As a result, I have closed my account and will only sell on CL. Just did a CL face to face cash deal last week with no hassles. I wish the OP good luck in getting paid in a timely fashion.
Hadn't sold on Reverb for a while. Sold 2000.00 worth of gear in weekend. Had always been paid to my PayPal account. My money was in limbo. They now only deposit to a bank account. Ok, they wouldn't accept a routing number. REQUIRED MY USER NAME AND PASSWORD. Not happening! Had to schlep to the bank and open a separate, unlinked account. Yea...they suck!
hmmmm. they gave me a debit card. worked out fine, but it was not cash in hand.
Reverb has a better buying pool and less lenient return policy than fleabay. But, both sites have too many folks with buyers remorse or that are too stupid to use equipment. I've had too many returns of perfectly good equipment as 'bad' to use either site. The time and hassle of dealing with moron buyers isn't worth it. Eating shipping costs both ways due to buyers lying about stuff sucks too. All a buyer has to do on eBay is claim significantly not as described and the seller gets screwed. I'd rather take a 30-35%hit and sell to the local music go round than deal with getting screwed by idiotic buyers and the buyer-focused policies of eBay and reverb.
Amazing, I got my money deposited with only one verified deposit. Guess I was right the entire time.
That’s when I stopped selling on eBay. Not linking my bank accounts.
