Reverb Purchase Issue

Just bought a pedal off of reverb a couple weeks ago. Was sent USPS tracking which hasn’t updated since ten days ago. Pedal was due the 16th.
I’ve reached out to the seller to let them know it’s looking like it’s at a stand still and inquire if it was insured. I haven’t heard back yet. Going to give it a few more days but am wondering if anyone has had their deal go south on reverb and how well it was handled. This is only my second transaction on there and realize it’s more of usps issue but am curious as to others’ experiences. Thanks in advance.

If it's a week late and the seller isn't responding then I'd let the seller know that if you don't hear from them in 24-48 hrs you're going to file a dispute with Reverb.

Sorry to hear this is happening to you. I've had some real frustrating experiences lately with delivery services in general. Very often the onus is placed on the buyer, so don't show anyone any more courtesy than is absolutely necessary. Seller has your money and USPS doesn't get in trouble for non-delivery unless you open a dispute (which you probably aren't even allowed to do, the seller has to). So do what you need to in order to protect yourself.

I had a purchase go all over the place once, making it late by about a week. Was coming USPS. At one time it was within about three hours of my town, then traveled back toward the original location, before finally showing up at my place.

As to tracking, I've found that USPS tracking is pretty useless most time (for me at least). I usually just check to see if it has left the shipper, then forget about it until it shows up.

Out of 46 purchases, none have ever gone bad. Hope you get your pedal
